George Dickel No. 12

This dram smells like buttered popcorn with elements of rye and toffee custard. This is mellow and slightly spicy with vanilla and spiced caramel. A very solid every day drinker.

Classic notes of a sour mash aged in oak. Some nice wood spice and a lingering heat. Plenty sweet and works well straight, on ice, and mixed.

I really enjoy this whisky. It beat Wild Turkey 101, Knob Creek 9 yr small batch, Eagle Rare, and Buffalo Trace in a blind tasting I participated in with friends. Very enjoyable vanilla/caramel nose and a palate that is sweet and smooth but with just enough heat to remind you that it's a whisky. Really good. I now keep a jug of it stocked

Tasting alone on the rocks. Initially dont like its finish, finding it hard to nail down the flavors. Bland.

Sweet and mild, great finish
