Nose is nice and sweet, full of chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, caramel, and orange zest at first, but then corn and oak quickly take over. Heat present but not overpowering. I can't get enough of the peanut butter notes, really good.
Palate pretty fruit forward, with cherry and orange jumping out along with butterscotch and pretty heavy oak. Long finish is mostly orange with lots of oak, with minimal rye spice. A faint nuttiness hangs on til the end. Really nice.
I get a lot of sort of bold contrasting flavors that all seem to work together nicely and create a pretty enjoyable flavor profile. It's very sweet but the dry oak helps keep it balanced. I'd recommend everyone try this.
