Toasted dark oak and toffee with spices and maybe some brown sugar on the nose. Taste comes in oak forward with caramel but still heavy on the spice like the standard Dickel but a little darker and more complex. Maybe some cinnamon as it progresses and with some spices. Medium burn but good and not too hot, quite good when sipped more slowly.
As I’ve tasted this it’s grown a lot on me. It’s less sweet and more oaky which makes it appealing when that’s the taste I’m after.
