George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Molasses, grassy rye, spearmint, nutmeg, fuji apples, chinese cinnamon, honied Graham crackers, creme brulee, rubbery vanilla buttercream, nougat, vague citrus note on the finish. Not bad, reminds me a bit of Black Saddle which might just be a MGP bottler anyway. Not a huge fan of nougat, though.

Quite spicy. Low flavored, brown sugar, cherry, cereal and a hint of vanilla.

Brown sugar and cherry. Drinks hotter than its proof.

OK bourbon for any night of the week. I prefer a wheated bourbon, so this wouldn’t be a go to.

Easy to drink, not super flavorful or memorable
