Intense, spicey. On nose: despite the high ABV on nose this is very pleasant. Strong sherry influence. Plum, some sweetness, warming spices. With some water: cinammon, nutmeg became dominant, fruity notes are in the background. Pears. Still very nice. Palate: neat - it is aggresive. Spicey notes first, then strong alcohol destroyed everything for me. With some water it gets creamy, honey, some bitter oak spices just before swallowing it. Pleasant caramel finish. For me the best Glenfarclas, due to the relatively weaker oaky spices.
