Glenmorangie Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish 12 Year

Not what i expected it to be. Too normal and straightforward. Bottled at 46%abv with an amber color. On the nose: caramel, blackberry marmalade, liquorice, and a light peat. On the palate: it is a spice bomb, very pleasant, it is a hot bomb too, some sugary note as toasted caramel, finish is oaky and with orange notes. Pleasant taste, but it lacks emotion. Overall it is a 74 over 100. There are better single malts out there.
