Reviewed February 19, 2020Hibiki 21 is a truly stunning example of what we’ve come to respect the most of Japanese whiskey. The nose opens with cherry blossom, plums and incense spice. It then moves to fruit cake and creme caramel. The palate is buttery and even as the long, lingering finish reminds one of Louis XIII Cognac. If you ever find a bottle, which is almost impossible, buy it!
