High West Double Rye

Powdered sugar coated wintergreen and caraway seeds on the nose - slight menthol notes. It tastes like Christmas...evergreen and sweetness. Some Rye spice and citrus on the sides of the tongue. Finish is semi-long, coating the mouth with some rye bread and sugar - some lingering heat.

This has become the foundation for my favorite old fashioned. This rye rises above even my favorite bourbons for old fashioned because of its excellent value

Nose is sweet with hints of cinnamon, anise and a bit of mint. Vanilla and spice on the palate. A medium long, spicy and warm finish with a little nutty flavor lingering at the end.
