Nice amount of peat but not so overwhelming like Laphroaig or Ardbeg. A great way to introduce a newbie to a peatier scotch. Not so sure I agree with the high sweet rating on the profile. A slight impression of salt. I paid $36.00 on sale. A great value even at $40-$50
