Ilegal Mezcal Joven

Not huge on Mezcal, I prefer ones with subtle smoke. Solid for something different but would not purchase again. Preferred the Anejo expression more

Clear. Pepper, grass. Mineral. Full, burn.

Nose - sweet honey/agave, roasted Palate - I’m not getting much here outside of the strong alcohol taste Finish - medium, sharp then coating Overall - either it’s an off day for my palate or this is not great

Pretty smooth. Not too much of a burn. Nice smoke.

Full flavor of orange, salt and heavy smoke hit right away leaving a very smooth orange peel finish. Subtle sweetness
