Pretty smooth for its age. There’s a nutty finish on palate. Not overly sweet on nose or palate.

One of the best bourbons I’ve had in the under $20 category.

Toasted nuts, oak, cinammon

Overall this one has a strong oak funk plus some good basic bourbon flavors. The nuttiness from HH is there and some baking spices hang out on the finish only. It isn’t better than Evan Williams black label though as that product is sweeter and much better balanced especially with the oak. It is a reasonable bottom shelf option and would mix well at 100 proof.

30 year old bourbon. Good

Really enjoyable as a sipper. A nice amount of spice on this and just classic bourbon notes. For $20 you can’t go wrong. Recommend.
