Kilchoman Sanaig (2016 Edition)

Grew on me as I continued sipping. Strong peat and caramel, but felt like it needed a layer or two more. Decent intro to a peat

Nose is very peaty and smoky as expected. Also with creamy chocolate, vanilla and raisins. On palate it feels stronger than 46%, the milk chocolate is more apparent with even a bit of coffee. The finish is long and sweet with the chocolate flavours, with some rounded peat.

Bottle now opened for 4.5 months. Tasty and full bodied.
