Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

I enjoyed this. Really could smell caramel after it set in the glass. Good taste, nice mouth feel. Nice companion to my Makers already in my cabinet. Permanent spot in my cabinet from now on.

A more pungent nose for a bourbon, with an oily and smoky palate that eventually opens up to the more standard sweetness you might expect. Ends with lots of spice. All this makes for a unique, complex glass. Thanks for sharing Josh!

A gift from Julie for my 37th birthday. I enjoy it's flavor. Subtle flavor with a nice spiced finish. Aromatic aftertaste.

Balanced nose with vanilla and honey, just a touch a spice and some cinnamon. Well balanced pallette and a smooth finish. Will be a go-to as a neat sipper.

4 Stars - One of my favorite bourbons. Just something about being my first bourbon. Super smooth... a little bite, but dissipates into a delicious fruity, vanilla, and cinnamon flavor that sits on your tongue for a while. A wonderful nightly sipping drink.
