Aroma- interesting complexity… chocolate, bit of rye spice, dark fruits. Big oak… slight sawdust aspect. Fall spices… Intriguing.
Taste- . Get the obvious oak and vanilla. Quite a bit of those fall baking spices picked up here again (nutmeg, allspice, splash of cinnamon). Some light maple. This one is solid and price point seems to right on point. Maybe $5-$7 a bit too high.
Recommend to try this at a bar first before purchasing. There are better options Kentucky Spirit, Rare Breed, Chattanooga BiB, 1920, etc that I would rather splurge on. Definitely worth a try, but temper expectations.
