Oran is an blended Scotch whisky brand from American independent Scotch whisky bottler The Perfect Fifth. Oran was created by Jim Murray, author of Jim Murray's Whisky Bible. Blend No. 2 is a blend of equal parts single malt Scotch whisky and single grain Scotch whisky.
Unlike Blend No. 1 which is aged exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels, there's a sherried cask component in this bottling. Bottled at 50% ABV, only 465 bottles were produced. Limited quantities are available at select retailers in New York, New Jersey, and California as well as online via the brand's website beginning November 2023.
