Rabbit Hole Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye

A lot of burn at first. After that, not as much.

I like it for old fashion

A- pale copper N- apricot, butterscotch, Banana bread, earthy. T- layered. Starts thin and sweet, apple and stonefruit. Middle is a bit of spice, pepper, wood, maybe a tinge of tobacco. Ends with a lingering long finish. Sweet spicy, and wood. The wood flavor is very nice. M- thin to medium O- not as dynamic as I was expecting but the balance between the rye and wood makes for a superb after taste.
