Rabbit Hole Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye

Nose is bright, fruity, cherries, oaky, walnuts, a good bit of rye spice, leather, a little mint on the end. Taste is not very sweet, maybe a little burnt caramel, very dry, a good bit of oak and nutty bitterness, spiciness comes through but the fruit and sweetness is gone. Bitterness and tingly spice remains on the palate for a medium length.

Very smooth

Not a fan of most ryes, but this is pretty good. Heavy on the rye flavor without overpowering.

Not as smooth as a good bourbon. Better after the ice melts a little

This is a very true rye. Strong alcohol. This is angels envy green label without the rum barrel. Would drink again but don’t need it in my cabinet.
