Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond

Tried in a bar in a rocks glass in Philly. Nose has some vanilla, and nice rye spice. The palate is sweet with leather, some rye spice and some nice oakyness. The finish is nice and on the short side if long. It drys the tongue a little. I like it.

Feels like pop rocks. An easy sipper

Sweet smell with a great warmth on the tongue and a pleasant aftertaste
