Springbank 15 Year

Had this in a blind tasting. Very smooth and easy to drink - but nothing stood out.

A- amber + 2, high viscosity N- tangerine, orange peels, honey, vanilla, funky , toffee, green apples, banana, lemon, sea minerals P- Spicy arrival, light peat and smoke, bubble gum, full, rich, oily, vanilla, apple, banana, burn sugar, funky, waxy, sea salt, sea water, oak, tart, sour, walnuts , grass, earthy F- long pleasant finish, sweet/salty/earthy aftertaste C- what a dram, the amount of complexity it's impressive, highly recommend it

Fruity nose. Salty sweet delicious.

Quite an enjoyable dram. I also like the 18yr, but it's been a while... I'd like to be able to compare them side by side. Nose : Peat up front, sea spray, light smoke, slight medicinal iodine note Palate : sweet on the tip of the tongue, but quickly gives way to a salty / briny dried kelp flavor as it coats your mouth Finish : medium length; sea brine remains, and the light smoke from the nose makes a comeback.
