Talisker Storm

Ahumado, salino.

Spicy finish is biggest note. Certainly peat and smoke to be found but not as much as I expected after previously having the talisker 10. Underwhelming isn’t the word but it’s just a subtler whiskey than others. It’s got some complexity but a part of me wanted this to be a bit bolder. All in all still a quality dram.

Közepesen erős, fűszeres, enyhén fás, gabonát illat. Testes-olajos, füstös, tőzeges, bőrkötéses könyv íz. Közepes- hosszú, csípős, fűszeres lecsengés.

The peat and smoky aromas are mellowed by a deep, rich sweet fragrance. Less smoky bacon, more smoked dried fruits. Some rich sweetness like honey and caramel on the palate, but with gentle peat underlying the flavours. Finish is lightly sweet and quite short.
