Tamdhu 15 Year

This just came in a close second in a blind tasting to Aberlour A'bunadh. Beat out Glenmorangie 15 Quinta Ruban, Glendronach 12, and Glenfarclas 17. Too difficult to get in Virginia but would definitely buy again if it were available.

Raisin on the nose! Sweet, balanced and full body, rich, deep palete, short aftertaste that doesn't ruin the "quality dram" feel

Sweet, rich, walnut and rich finish,

Sherry and cherry on the nose. Silky mouthfeel with notes of chocolate, nutmeg, orange, and roasted peanut. Nice, long fish. Excellent!

A truly delicious Speyside. A little caramel, a bit of smoke. This one is distinctive- I could pick it out from a flight. It's Sunday night, I'm going back for seconds.
