Virginia Distillery Co. Port Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky

Nose: Brandied cherries, nougat candy, oak, and cinnamon. Palate: Rich nougat, tart cherry, tobacco, light notes of cocoa, rather thin mouthfeel. Finish: Very dry, slow, and not especially intense burn.

Heavier than just an after taste of smoke.

Nose is malty slightly bright sweetness with dark stone fruit and maybe a bit of dark chocolate. Taste is some almost burnt toast maltyness with Black cherry or plum, a bit of spice at the end that lingers
