A caramel that increases in intensity along with spiced apple, vanilla cream, oak, cereal and some lighter dried fruits. some citrus comes up in particular for me. The finish is a medium to short finish, has a steady spice and mild char all the way to the end. This one comes out as particularly fruity and sweet which is fantasic as the higher proof also adds another layer of complexity.
2/19/24: antique 107 is my FAV weller so far. Ive yet to have CYPB or single barrel but as of now, its the best weller in my opinion. Special reserve is great for the price but not much to brag about. 12 having alot more oaky notes and much more interesting. 107 having a very great complexity on the palette with the fruit notes, oak, spice, and i find 107 to be a perfect proofing for this. Full proof showcasing oaky, burnt brown sugar and another classic high proofing make it my second favorite.
