Nose: Stone fruit like cherry, almost medicinal. Some ethanol from the proof. Buttery vanilla frosting.
Palate: More cherry at the top with a hint of vanilla but shifts to cinnamon and baking spices.
Finish: Baking spices take over for a medium finish.
Weller Antique 107 shows what a few more proof points can do to amp up a good wheater. It’s understandable why it’s so hunted. A fantastic sipper.
