Whiskey Acres Bourbon Finished in Maple Syrup Casks
This is an annual release of Whiskey Acres bourbon distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% soft winter wheat, and 10% malted barley. It is initially matured in 53-gallon new oak barrels from Kelvin Cooperage with a #3 char for a minimum 5 years.
It is then finished for 3 months in maple syrup barrels from Sugar Hill Bush and Funk's Grove farms. It is bottled at cask strength, which varies by release.
