Whiskey Acres Bourbon Finished in Maple Syrup Casks

My bottle was much higher proof (116.4) which probably gave it more weight but the maple sweetness overpowers the corny/caramel flavors that are otherwise interesting. I get a barn-dusty, grainy feel that is appealing and it seems MUCH softer than the proof indicates. Its fun as a dessert dram but not sure its worth the price for a 375ml…

Really good viscosity. Tastes thicker, which youd expect from maple syrup. Smells so good. Very happy with this one.

Meh, they used the maple cask to mask the immaturity of the juice but inflated the price as if it were a well rounded pour - hard pass and never again @ $50 for 375ml (I typically never use price point to judge but this was a boarder jumper imo)
