Reviewed October 10, 2022First taste from the bottle neck. Really strong earthy nose takes away from a decent finish. Hoping the nose mellows out further into the bottle. -

Reviewed October 10, 2022Note and taste has a lot of field corn smell, husk and all. Different of course from their Rye, but hints at the same spice, barrel oak and smoke. Generally rich smooth and full taste. Very pleasant warming sipper. -

Reviewed October 4, 2022 (edited November 18, 2022)The neck pour has an unpleasant aftertaste. After sitting on a big ice ball it doesn’t get better. The proof is nice with good heat for me. I bought this bottle on a whim. I’ll let it sit and come back to it but this one may sit on the shelf for quite a while.
