Nose is not a traditional bourbon. I get heavy nose of shucked sweet corn. Maybe with a touch of the husk smell . Some sweetness but not in the traditional sense. The taste is much more traditional with just a hint of the corn nose coming through. The best part by far is the finish… a medium to long finish with a nice peppery note that’s not overwhelming but in a pleasing manner. At about $40 it’s not one you necessarily need to try before you buy, bust just be aware of that strong corn note. Glad we own it for its uniqueness in the bourbon lineup.
