Wild Turkey American Honey

Nice and light. Great substitute for dessert.

Very sweet—not my style.

Very golden light I am not sure if it is the power of suggestion, but this bourbon reminders me of the color of clover honey or even a soft Tupelo honey. The aroma is very faint but pleasing. The taste is Wow, this is 70 proof made with bourbon, clover honey and cane sugar, so probably should be classified as a liqueur. As a liqueur this is really a dessert pour. Very light finish hardly any spice, mostly just sweetness.

Harsher bite than what I’d expect from a honey whiskey. Not displeasing but there are much better options if you want a sweet whiskey. Doesn’t boast a strong honey flavor, just saccharine sweetness like it was made with plain sugar syrup.

Taste a lot of honey and hardly no whiskey.
