Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon

This is hot. A drink for the frontier, for a cabin in the winter. Yet somehow the sweetness comes through. Really fantastic beverage.

Nose: Vanilla, cherry and oak Palate: Cherry sweetness on the front palate. Then slow spread to the whole palate. Finish: Long finish with cherry and vanilla notes lingering.

The bourbon is spicy and has some heat. Worth trying one time but I’d never keep paying over $50 for this. I think Wild Turkey 101 is sub $40 and just as good as the rare breed. Save the cash and stick with 101 if you’re a Wild Turkey fan.
