It opens up more on the palate with plenty of sweet brown sugar, cinnamon syrup, spearmint, and peanut brittle before a pleasant buttery finish of toffee, cherry, and wood spice. While brash and alcoholic, it is more tempered than most affordably-priced barrel proof bourbons. Good value
