Nose: spice, vanilla, and tobacco blend evenly with smoke and toast filing in the cracks. Notes of mint will greet you at the door. The proof is high but creates a warming environment that connects the smells.
Taste: Spice, mint and tabacco with vanilla landing in the middle-back of the palate.
Mouthfeel: warming with medium-high viscosity.
Finish: lingering tobacco and spice hang around well into the next drink.
This was a standard bottle.

One of my favorite bottles. You cant beat it for the money. The nose is rich with vanilla frosting and spice. The palate is big and in your face without being overbearing. Caramel, vanilla, tobacco, smoke/char. The finish is long and pleasing with and opens with a nice punch of heat.
What I would consider a fantastic, affordable bourbon that does most everything right. Waves of welcoming butter and brown sugar assault the palate, bordering on too sweet. Slight underlying clove?

Tasted blind at a friend's house.
Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes.
Color: Light-medium amber.
Nose: Caramel, raisin, dark fruit, oak.
Palate: Clove, oak, and something I can't quite place.
Finish: Medium length with medium heat.
Splash: Oak and clove notes and a grassy? note.
Overall: 8/10 - I had wanted to try this and it did not disappoint. Will stand up well to ice and I'll definitely pick up a bottle.
