Blended — Ireland

I may have found my new favorite Irish whiskey. Proper No. 12 is an excellent Irish whiskey and is priced just right. This has a medium-light amber color in the glass and a sweet nose with apples and pears along with vanilla. The body is light and sweet with the fruitiness and vanilla rushing through your mouth. It reminds me of Bushmill's Red label with the fruitiness and body. The finish is quick and smooth with no real complaints from me. This is an easy recommendation from me this is fantastic and I need to try this against Powers and Bushmill's Red to see which one I like the most. The more I drink this whiskey the more I like it. It is very flavorful for an Irish whiskey and in my area, it is roughly the same price as Tullamore and it has so much more flavor. Happy New Year to everyone and I hope the upcoming year is better than 2020 was. Enjoy.

Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Tried this one and was very pleased with it. Thanks for the recommendation .
Thanks guys. I will look for these in the near future.
Nice review. Im gonna through out Black Barrel and Writers Tears both low to mid $30s and considerably better than most blends imo. You get some nice pot still ala Redbreast
Not sure of pricing and I have a feeling maybe a bit outside the price range but the Method and Madness are not to bad. I had the chestnut finish and pot still. Yellow or Green spot. Powers John's Lane Release
Thanks 1901.
Thanks Danner I hope you do try it. I was very impressed by this. Any suggestions for Irish whiskeys in the $30 to $50? I am saving up for a bottle of Redbreast but after that I am open to suggestions.
Happy New Year too @ancient33w. To add to what @bdanner said i saw comments online that this reputedly is 10% Bushmills malt and 90% grain from IDL (Midleton).
Nice review. Bushmills is supposedly the source, so it’s probably with good reason it reminds of Red Bush (one of my favorites cheap bottles). I considered this gimmicky with its tie in with McGregor, but you have piqued my interest.
