This bourbon really hits the spot. Sweet and strong. Lots of wood, oak, leather and tobacco in the mid palate but opens up and finishes with maple and brown sugar. You won't see it in the flavor profile graph below but I get a nicely balanced saltiness in my 129 proof. It's like baking salt... Just there to add complexity to the sweetness. Strong burn you can cut with an ice cube. Still super smooth for a high proofer. Every bottle of CEHT is amazing. Don't pass up a chance to try this unique expression. It's raw and delicious!
