On the rocks. Not sure what I'm tasting. Light smell. Smooth across tongue. Hits back of the throat with a bite of something like charcoal. Taste grass in the body. Didn't taste fruit or vanilla but still new. Def tasted the spice.

Just as a friendly word of advice, if you would like to actually taste anything, try it neat, 1 ounce in a small wine glass or snifter, with half a teaspoon of water (no more). Let it sit a few minutes, then breathe it gently. Once you get your nose around framework, take just enough of a sip to cover the tougne and hold it a few seconds before swallowing. Ice chills high proof alcohol far too much to pick up any the unique flavors that are subtle (at best) in fine Whiskys. Enjoy the journey! ;-D
