Talisker 10 Year

Light peat nose with hints of caramel and fruity sweetness engulfed with ocean breeze air/sea salt.
Palate is rich and creamy. Tongue burn comes on late with a bite, but fades gracefully. Hints of orange and brown sugar as it finishes, leaving sweet vanilla on the palate. Adding water seems to weaken nose. Bite not as hard. Water evens out the taste and finish. I like this better straight.

If ardbeg10 is a camaro and lap 10 is a mustang then talisker10 is an M3......plenty of power with added refinement
I have not seen this yet in my area, but you have piqued my interest. The hunt begins. Thanks.
Have you tried the Distillers Edition? It may have too much of the peat removed for your taste, but the combination of Talisker with a sweet aging is excellent (better than the 10, IMO)
