@WhiskeyBlender thanks Nancy! I’m going to look for anything I can get from #42-47, preferably 44 or 45
@PBMichiganWolverine, sorry I'm just now seeing your question. Wow, that's a hard one! I don't know if there is just any one that I'm particularly proud of, but I do have some personal favs. I'll stick to the more recent bottlings. I pretty much loved all of the ones that were part of the "Rock & Roll Series." Those were batches #42-47. My favorites in those are probably batch #44 (aka named "Luke the Drifter" as a nod to Hank Williams Sr.) and batch #45 (aka "Psychedelic Summer"). Does that help a little?
@WhiskeyBlender @dhsilv2 at $170, it’s a no-brainer buy. Even $200, given the components. Out of all the batches, which are you the most proud of? ( I know that’s like asking to pick a favorite child...but selfishly, I’m thinking if I’m going to splurge on a bottle of this, I’d love to have a batch recommendation )
@dhsilv2 and @PBMichiganWolverine, oops, sorry, I meant "375 mL," NOT "$375" in my last post.! LOL. Sorry about that. ;-)
@PBMichiganWolverine, wow, the $300+ territory is just ridiculous. I think the lowest it has been in the past few years is about $170 or so, which is reasonable given the components. @dhsilv2, I completely agree, it would be really cool to see a $375 version of Cigar Blend, but given the cost of making those custom small bottles, the fact that each batch is small, coupled with the fact that it is harder to work with small bottles than it is 750's would mean that it would cost a fortune to bottle Cigar Blend and then the price would become even astronomical and absurd. That said, I agree completely that it would be cool if it were possible, in order to spread it out more. But unfortunately, the cost is too prohibitive. On a tangent, I also just wanted to say that if you guys have an opportunity to taste the new Michigan-only version of Cigar Blend, I'd love to get your thoughts. It's a little different from the regular CB. You could think of regular Cigar Blend as a sitcom, and the CB-Michigan version as the spinoff. At any rate, cheers!
@WhiskeyBlender well, I for one would love smaller bottles to spread them around more. I've really liked some stores getting 375's on their picks of late, even from the much shunned buffalo trace, they got that right. It really helps bottles spread around more.
@PBMichiganWolverine well, I don't see why income's going to be more disposable. Most of us kept our jobs but had nothing BUT liquor to spend it on the last year and a half. Not a lot of service and retail folks buy these types of expressions. Hopefully now people go out to eat more, take vacations, and who knows what else.

@WhiskeyBlender great to hear from you Nancy. I think $300 is the lowest I’ve seen it. I have a feeling retailers will be only going up on this one...especially if now we factor in a recovering economy, higher inflation, and increase in disposable income
@dhsilv2 and @PBMichiganWolverine, Master Blender Nancy popping in again. It really makes me sad when I see Cigar Blend on sale for $300+ at some retails stores. That's just unconscionable. Also, I don't think we'll ever sell it in 200 mL bottles for CB. However, if it helps at all, the proof of a lot of the stock that I'll be using for upcoming Cigar Blends is in the 130+ range, so at least people will be getting their money's worth of alcohol. The batches since around batch #21 or 22 have been somewhere in the 120 to 127+ range. Cheers, Nancy.
@PBMichiganWolverine these are worth 250 300, after that we are in stupid land, but bourbon is almost all in stupid land
@dhsilv2 likewise—-would love to see these in 200ml. I’m just not ready to pull the trigger for these sky high prices by some retailers
I dream of the day they move to a 200 ml for these bottlings and sadly jack up the price accordingly, so perhaps I can get them....even that small an amount would be narvana. Instead I'm stuck paying secondary pricing when friends can get them from elsewhere for me. It's insanity!
