The Pommegranite wine cask has a nice cask influence in between Sherry and port casks, flavors heavily cask driven with some maltiness and pepper.
Nose: Raisins, Dark Chocolate, Pommegranites, Butterscotch, Luxardo Cherries, Toffee, Plums, Grapefruit, Figs, Violets, Blackberries, Pepper, Salted Caramel
Palate: Pommegranites, Raisins, Dark Chocolate, Honey, Dates, Prunes, Figs, Salted Caramel, Blondies, Milk Chocolate, Blood Oranges, Raspberries
Finish: Pommegranites, Dark Chocolate, Raisins, Chili Pepper, Honey, Morello Cherries, Raspberries

@PBMichiganWolverine I've had home-made pomegranite wine but I never knew it was a commercial thing. Googling it turns up that it is made by several Israeli wineries and is apparently a thing in India as well. Huh.
Never even knew there was such a thing like pomegranate wine…nevermind a pomegranate finished whiskey
