Bottle kill.
Still fruity and malty, the barrel spice notes have expanded and resonate loudly, still quite silky on the palate.
This ended its journey as a blend of equal parts with Johnnie Walker blue label, and the combination of the two exceeded the component parts, creating a luscious, silky, spicy, delicious concoction.
Enjoyable as as a stand alone product, but exceptional as a component in a blend/infinity bottle.

@jdriip Nice. I need to start a bourbon/rye and a Scotch Infinity bottle. Good way to use up that last bit that makes for an odd final pour.
@angstrom I read that a good way is to start with a whiskey you like as the base and add small amounts of one or two contrasting styles. Add more as you taste other whiskey you think would complement what’s already there. But there are lots of ways to make them. It’s all about experimenting. You could take a shot of all your favorite whiskeys and put them together. One of my favorite bottles is a bourbon/rye infinity made of the last bits from various bottles.
Any tips on starting an infinity bottle?
