An elegant Brandy by Comte de Lauvia in Armagnac, France crafted with a blend of Ugni Blanc, Baco Blanc & Folle Blanche double matured' this Armagnac in local black oak casks, initially in new wood for several months, before being moved to 2nd or 3rd fill casks for a further period of around 2 years. After this, they're moved to older casks.
It has an aromatic birth with notes of chocolate & Mississippi mud pie, zesty marmalade. Fig rolls, vanilla custard, hints of menthol & cigar box; while a rich & complex life adds notes of butterscotch, toffee, nutty & slightly mushroomy rancio; that led to a warm & earthy death of medium length with notes of mixed peels, orange oil & a hint of hazelnut.
