Dalmore Cigar Malt
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

This is a beautiful pour, coating the glass with long slow legs. Thick applesauce and rootbeer on the nose, with honey, berries and citrus. And maybe a bit of tobacco. The oiliness on the glass becomes sweet oiliness in the mouth with a mild suggestion of smoke, coffee and tobacco. Water adds vanilla and oak to the nose, lightens the palate and sneaks in some anise. The dry glass is redolent with butterscoth and blood orange. Put all this with a gorgeous dark amber color, and you have a mighty nice whisky. Thanks Pranay!

No worries Jack---Take your time
LeeEvolved - no problem. I love your note! I too greatly appreciate Pranay's generosity. The problem is finding something to send back that he hasn't already commented on.
Except I think I sent the Cigar Malt Reserve. This one is discontinued I think (supposedly less expensive, and better)
@GeologyJack- apologies for hijacking your review. It was excellent, sir. I've been wondering about the Cigar Malt for awhile now. Cheers.
Maybe I embellished the story just a tad, Pranay. I was also channeling my inner Richard Paterson, Dalmore's master distiller and brand ambassador. If you've ever watched his tasting videos on YouTube you'd see what I was going for 😂.
I think LeeEvolved is asking for more knee deep in cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and vials. I can make that happen...
LeeEvolved opens mailbox, looks inside. Closes mailbox. Waits 30 seconds, opens mailbox and looks again. Grunts, closes mailbox. LeeEvolved drops to his knees, looks skyward and raises his arms... PRANAY!, he screams. PRA-NAAAAAAYYYYY!!! (microphone and hint, dropped)
You're welcome! Glad you liked it. One of their better NAS versions
