This was my gateway whiskey that gave me an appreciation for all things distilled. A great choice for starting out because it is very light and smooth. I give it three stars because after a couple years I find it is a little light for someone who has been sipping whiskeys for awhile. But if you're looking for a good gateway scotch this is a good choice for the price.
