Now we’re talking...or should I say smellin’! The nose is oozing chocolate sundae sauce, faint tobacco, smoke, tea, bananas, and blood oranges. Mmm for the palate, I get a smooth and rich espresso coffee, hazelnut, briny goodness, mushroom gravy, and mint. Such a pleasant complex glass with a solid medium finish. I adore peat, but this doesn’t need a high peat content to make its presence known. Speaking of Presence, the theme of this dram should be “Achilles’ Last Stand” by Led Zeppelin. I rate this a 4.5 only because the finish was a little dry for me. Outstanding stuff.

Awesome Pranay. You’re the man.
@Telex or alternatively if you want a full bottle, I got mine from ShopRite of Chester NJ. See if they ship
@Telex. I have a bottle I got last month for just over $80. I'll probably open it before round 6...will send as a bonus sample in round 6
Oh! It's a sold out on Master of Malt - Limited Release from 2003. The odds of me finding that are low unless I shell out tons on the auction block I bet.
@Reverend45 @Telex wait, sorry—-just did a quick search here. The Moine doesn’t seem PX finished. Just the recent 14 yr old one.
@Telex no, the Moine is a NAS version. The PX finish one is an age statement, 14 yrs. The little I know, the 14 yr one is better.
Oh man Pranay - Is that the Moine? I NEED that one =)
This isn’t a peat monster, but still makes a statement. I just bought their PX sherry finished, which I think will add an interesting sweet layer to the maritime and smoke flavors
