Velvety smooth, plum/dark fruit sweetness with a very slight dry backbone to keep it interesting. An inviting puff of soft smoke rounds it out. There could be more richness, and the flavour’s nothing unique but it’s executed beautifully. It comes across as the best Johnnie Walker, with all the corners, edges and splinters ground perfectly smooth. $110 in Ontario.
