I swear I’m getting honey baked ham on the nose. Rich, creamy, grassy, honeyed. Yummy. Another one shared by pops!

@tylerss20 - as far as blends go- these guys are usually the benchmark to compare other blends to. As far as similarities to single malts, they tend to use Clynelish and Dailuaine stock heavily so you could say there’s underlying notes of honey, florals and candlewax in all of their stuff. You just have to research what type of blend you’re looking for primarily: sherry, peated, bourbon-esque or just light and waxy. They have something for each category and there’ll all quite good. Their price range is usually dictated by the ages of the stock they use- so you can stay on the cheap side with their core stuff ($40-60) or go to the limited releases and expect to spend ($120-300+). IMO you won’t be disappointed either way you go.
I've had this on my list a while but haven't heard much about compass box. there's no unifying DNA to their blends, they seem eclectic. Are there any blends or single malts you would compare this to?
this is a really tasty bottle. one day I'll have to find the special release and try it.
