The official notes sum it up well. Candy notes, red berries, and interestingly tobacco, not a common tasting descriptor but must remember it. They've done well here, I dropped a bunch of water in and it opened up a bit. Good quality drop but I wouldn't say it's exciting. Solid 4.

@PBMichiganWolverine @Generously_Paul I just checked the price and it's only $50. On that basis with VFM factored in it really is a worthwhile buy. Will be interested to hear GPs thoughts on a whole bottle. I liked the 20 yr and still have an 18 yr sample to work through.
I’ve got a bottle of this guy, really looking forward to it.
This is interesting. I always thought of Deanston as boring, but sounds like it makes as a good canvas for finishing.
