Nose- Briny smoke with a hint of bacon.
Body- Sweet lemon and honey at first taste which quickly develops to a highly brined, medicinal peat.
Finish- To have such a peaty character the finish is medium and the mouthfeel is downright light.
There is a lot of complexity here. This is a fun scotch. The peatiness turns a more medicinal direction though. I prefer the smoky floral meat of Lagavulin.
