Trying to switch from whiskey and expand my palate, I tried this cognac. This cognac isn’t particularly complex or fruity. It does have a brief taste of raisins but goes quickly into a brief alcohol burn. I actually prefer this over the VSOP since this has more flavor overall but with the alcohol burn.
