Edit: I keep thinking about the rich brown sugar in this guy and wishing it was more forward in other bourbons. Bumping him up. The nose is sweet and smooth. Can’t tell that it’s over 50%. Lots of brown sugar, oak and nuttiness. On the palate, spice cake and brown sugar, plus some cocoa powder and coffee grounds. Extremely smooth bourbon for how big it is. I love the flavor profile of this.
