For the price, it's one of the best blends out there. Better than any single malt at the same price tag. It's squarely in same price range as the Johnnie Walker Black---but a much better quality than the Black. I think the Black uses some harsher grains or lower quality malts.

Completely agree & also nice to see we’re in lockstep on 5 stars!
Agreed. Coincidentally, I just reviewed this one, too.
@adaminak: I have not tried it---but will certainly get one now. Thanks for the recommendation---I'm always looking for a good quality, and easy on the wallet one. Sounds like Speyburn 18 might fit the bill
Completely agree with your comparison to JWB, even though I like a smokier dram. By chance, have you tried Speyburn 10? It's a single malt, and has a very similar profile to the Artist's Blend with added depth in the middle and finish. I can tell the Artist is a blend, whereas the Speyburn is most definitely a single malt, both in nose and palate. The only thing lacking is the big price tag; my last bottle of Speyburn was about $18 cheaper than this CB blend.
Agreed!
